Home-style Thick and Hearty Chili in the Crock-pot:

This is one of our favorite meals to prepare in the crock-pot. We always can go for a nice hearty bowl of chili any time of the year. This is a simple recipe that takes only about 15-20 minutes to prepare and then you just set it and forget it, letting it cook in the crock-pot.

Ingredients:

Ground beef (1.5 lbs)

3-4 stalks of celery

1 can of black beans

1 can of red beans

3-4 small cans tomato sauce

1 cans diced tomatoes

1 can of green beans

1 can of corn

1 packet of 3 bean chili mix

1 packet of chili seasong

Paprika

Minced onion

Garlic powder

Red pepper

Salt and pepper

Directions:

Brown beef in skillet with 2 table spoons of olive oil

Combine all ingredients in crock pot

Stir Well

Cook on high for 4 hours

Serve with crackers
